We are a small domiciliary care company based in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.  We provide services to people in Abergavenny and surrounding areas, as well as in Llangattock and Crickhowell in South Powys. 

We are registered with CIW and can provide a range of services including:

Personal care;

Getting up and going to bed;

Assistance with washing and dressing;

Preparing meals

Shopping

Assisting with medication;

Housekeeping; and 

Respite sitting.

Our aim is to provide vital support for the elderly and less able in a friendly, caring and professional manner.  All our carers undergo a robust recruitment process and are hand-picked for their attitude and ethos as well as their experience and qualifications.

They are all paid well and are encouraged to be proactive and to “go the extra mile” whilst at the same time respecting boundaries.

Loss of independence can be humiliating and frustrating, and that first vital step of admitting that you can no longer cope alone is sometimes very difficult.  We appreciate that it is also sometimes difficult for family members to accept the fact that their loved ones need of more help than they themselves can provide.  We therefore try to make the experience as friendly and personal as possible.  All potential clients are visited in their own homes so that we can assess their needs and answer any questions which they may have.  From this initial visit we gain an overview of the client and aim to tailor the service to their own specific needs, likes and dislikes.   We always aim for best possible outcomes in terms of meeting our clients’ needs.

We respect the fact that everyone however old, frail or disabled, has the right to consider the pros and cons of our services before signing on the dotted line and, to this end, we are happy to visit more than once should that be necessary. We are also happy for family members to be present all meetings; in fact, we positively encourage it.

We guarantee ongoing support; are always available to discuss any problems, issues or concerns and will do our utmost to resolve these in the best way possible. Our aim is to personalise our service to each individual client.
