Working with Mylife Homecare Edinburgh has been amazing, excellent care co-ordinators, and I truly feel par of a team. When my Mum passed on, I received a bouquet of flowers from the company which was so thoughtful of them.

This company is better than most Care Providers. Staff are genuinely helpful, and will generally do anything you ask of them. They will try to provide you with the staff who suit you best, are will remove staff if someone is not fitting in well. Sometimes staff are unsure how to use equipment, so you need to make sure that they come in with experienced staff, maybe even a couple of times before working alone. You can arrange this with the office They will change what they do, or the times they come in if your needs change. They will respond to criticism and will do anything they can to help in any situation. As with any agency, it is vital to be honest and state your needs. Get someone's you trust to do this for you if you are unable to communicate this yourself The reason for not giving maximum stars is, they are on the expensive side.

Hi, My Life, have a lady called Gift. She has helped me from day 1 and is the most thoughtful and amazing lady. She is kind and encouraging. She always takes time to listen to me with no judgement. I feel so lucky to have her as a carer. Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend. I've sent several emails querying things - none replied to until I emailed manager. No calls about any issues other than when a visit refused. No communication about care to elderly grandparents and only told about an app after I called - but my email requesting access never responded to. No evidence of housework tasks being completed and a visit cancelled with a day's notice as no staff. Have cancelled after only two months after council carers reported no food in house yet a lunchtime visit was meant to have happened with these carers. They sounded great but in reality I think we were too trusting given grandparents reduced capacity.

Working with my life home care is really very good and each visit to a service user is one hour or more as domiciliary carer giving you time to have a bond with your service user and when you have an issue and call the office they respond to you right away 🙂

One of the best domiciliary care companies in Scotland. I highly recommend.

🌟 My journey as a Care Worker 🌟 I started with this amazing company in 2022, and I couldn't be any happier to still be with them today. This is a truly great place to work, and the culture makes it that much better. What completes the experience is the team itself. I was told from the beginning (before I even started) that I would have more than enough support through all of the highs and lows of being a Care Worker. A MASSIVE thanks goes out to our manager Lori and our team co-ordinator because I couldn't have managed without them! They were always in touch, approachable, and they genuinely cared. Even at my busiest, both of them were willing to sit down with me and listen, and provide thoughtful and supportive recommendations- whether it could be work-related or personal. I appreciate a company that: offers me at minimum, consistent working hours, simply recognizes when a job is done well (I am seriously still in shock that I was nominated for the Scottish Care Awards), and today I couldn't be any more excited to be a finalist! 🎉 If you are one who has a genuine passion for caring, I can say with confidence, this is probably one of the better places to work!

Excellent agency, lovely staff and they've been a life saver for us. Absolutely nothing negative to say - have been using them for 4 months twice a day. Good management and always kept in the loop.

Mylife homecare is definitely one of the best care companies in Scotland. They have staff that are professional, well trained and empathetic towards their clients. The office staff are quite responsive and proactive when you call them and will react swiftly to any request. Mylife has many service packages that are flexible and affordable. I highly recommend.

Our aunt enjoyed very special care from MyLife. She always felt in control of her care which is so important. She looked forward to the carer visits and happily relied on them, which was lovely for her, and also reassuring for the family. All the carers were excellent. They cooked meals from scratch according to her methods, cleared up afterwards, and found time to chat with her as friends - all in one hour. Warm and caring in ways that went beyond merely professional. Thank you all.

Me and mum have been let down so many times before looking for live-in care for my nan. So relieved that we found MyLife. The carers are so kind, caring and professional. Thank you so much for taking the best care of her, we know she’s in good hands.

Staff continually go above and beyond for clients and eachother. The support offered to clients is of an exceptional standard.

Rota is never delivered on time,Sometimes even over a week late. Company is disorganised and carers have no initiative, I hate to think how people that have no mental capacity are treated. By the way I am a former social care worker

Office staff hopeless.. carers need to understand dementia etc... training required

I have visited this office a couple of times and am always happy to be greeted so warmly. The team are friendly and professional.
